The Pfaffenlehen estate comprises 10 hectares of meadows, pastures, corrals and forest. This area is fenced in. In addition there are 40 hectares of mountain forest.

The estate consists of the New Manor House with its holiday apartments and the apartment of the onsite manager and his wife, the holiday house, the Old Manor House and the Farm with a 300-year-old classified farm house, stables and riding hall.

Despite the quiet and idyllic location Gut Pfaffenlehen is perfectly connected to the infrastructure of the Berchtesgadener Land: A spacious shopping centre with an Edeka supermarket boasting a wide range of products, pharmacy, drugstore Rossmann, boutiques, pizzeria etc. is only 800 metres away.

Berchtesgaden with the “Haus der Berge“ (House of the Mountains), the Watzmann spa, Obersalzberg, salt mines, Watzmann and Königssee (King’s Lake) is only 11 kilometres away, the spa town Bad Reichenhall with its rich cultural offers and the spa oasis Rupertustherme only 9 kilometres. It is only 25 kilometers distance to the world- famous city of Salzburg with the Getreidegasse, Mozart’s birthplace, the festival and its unique old town.

By the way – Gut Pfaffenlehen is run ecologically. There is extensive agriculture and our electricity is produced by our own water plant.
